The mess

My African lineage, as far as I can trace starts with Mr and Mrs Sellout Irresponsibility, grandparents to Poverty and Nogood Corruption, daughter and son of Mr & Mrs Ten Percent Cutcorners, cousin of Nocapacity Disgrace. Mr Cutcorners, in keeping with tradition, is a polygamist. He has a son with his first wife, Ms Easymoney Laziness. From that union a son by the name of NoAccountability was born, who is engaged to a beautiful Miss Novirtue Disease. There is some controversy as to the parentage of Mr Sellout, some say he is the bastard son of Sir Colonialism hailing from the West, others say he was adopted by Sir Colonialism; however his biological father is a commoner hailing from Within, known as Awful Greed, by the locals. Now apparently, all these rumours have resulted in a lot of infighting within the family. Do you know where you come from? For, if you don’t know your past, you don’t know where you are going.

How curious, just when reports are circulaing of the imminent departure of his brother from the Zuma administration,Schabir now wants his loan repaid.Schabir allegedly gave el presidente a loan of R2.5 million,of which apprently R500,000 has been recieved. Reports in the media this week indicate that his brother,Mo, who has had a falling out with his minister is due to be let go in the very near future;now Schabir wants his money back, I don't think it's a coincidence at all..so much for cadre deployment!

President Mbeki said.....

So, President Mbeki, was apparently discussing knowledge at a lecture last night (because I bet you it was not a speech) at Stellenbosch University. Below is what he is quoted as saying in the papers: "False knowledge was advanced that the Gaddafi regime was about to slaughter millions of civilians,……. This was to justify the imposition of a no-fly zone over Libya which served as a cover to overthrow the Libyan government and impose a regime approved by the Western powers in their interest." Dear Sir, I was not in Stellenbosch but if the papers are quoting you verbatim, I'm sorry "false knowledge" is oxymoronic; misinformation I can deal with. Secondly, to insinuate that it was used to advance western powers agenda on Libya is neither here nor there; you have been in the hot seat before, which nation-state acts altruistically in such instances? Of course it was to advance their own agenda! It's about time Africa did the same, instead of whining when the early bird catches the worm! You snooze, you lose! No agenda, no air! Information has to be synthesized in order to be knowledge, therefore it is implicit from what the former president was saying that it seems there is one party that has monopoly on the synthesizes of information. An assertion I hold to be false. I can concur, however that there are parties out there, that are more proactive in the synthesis/analyses of information, whilst others are more reactive, who is to blame? Joe Gogetter or Joe Letussee? Y

Whoa, I'm online. After months of thinking about setting up my onw blog, I finally did by just setting aside 10 minutes, to get it up an running. Be warned though, it my not be regularly updated.I winder how many out there have had the same inspiration, but lacked the 10 minute perspiration; this was by no means one of my new years resolutions.
